Rain Watchman
Roadmap

From Türkiye to the world, phase by phase.

This page describes the growth plan for the location-specific EARLY RAIN ALERT (the Watchman's prediction). The app's weather forecasts, live radar, precipitation map and route weather already work everywhere in the world today — the phase plan is only about the Watchman's early alert.

Phase 1LIVE NOW

🇹🇷 Türkiye — pilot region

Full power here: every feature, including the location-specific early rain alert, is active in Türkiye. The system learns from every rain and gets more accurate every day. The experience gained in the pilot period lays the foundation for global expansion.

Phase 2

🇪🇺 Europe

The first international step. With its dense, high-quality radar network, climate dynamics similar to Türkiye's and strong open-data infrastructure, Europe is the natural first expansion region for the early alert.

Phase 3

🌎 North America

Bringing the early rain alert to the US and Canada — home to some of the world's most advanced radar infrastructure — powered by local data sources.

Phase 4

🌏 Asia-Pacific & Middle East

Region-by-region expansion starting with countries with strong radar networks such as Japan, South Korea and Australia; gradual rollout in the Middle East based on data quality.

Phase 5

🌍 Global coverage

The long-term goal: early alerts wherever radar data exists, and satellite-assisted approaches for regions beyond radar coverage.

Reminder: weather forecasts, live radar & satellite, the precipitation map and route weather ALREADY work everywhere in the world today. The phases above describe only the rollout of the location-specific early rain alert (the Watchman's prediction).

This page states intent and direction; the order and timing of phases may be updated based on pilot-period experience and regional data quality.
